2009 24 hours of Le Mans

Not really watching, but wow! - the Peugeot are at first and second at the moment…it looks like Audi has problems with its R15 TDIs

Been watching some big bits since yesterday, a bit dissapointed by the Audi, it looks so fantastic, the hype around it was sky high and everyone expected them to demolish Peugeot but the car seems to be still very young and needs big developpement steps. Peugeot on the other hand did a terrific job.

Mixed race for Porsche as they won the LMP2 category but got owned in GT2... with 4 out of 5 retirements and the lone GT3 RSR got thrashed by everyone else in the category. Very disappointing.

Too bad for Audi too, but Peugeot really brought it this year. I guess it's harder to win when you are not competing against yourself. Aston finishing 4th could mean more competition in the near future.

I was hoping Peugeot would have more of those wonderful pitstops where they smack into another car and then are forced to go an entire lap on three tires and then bringing out the safety car so they can clean up the bodywork and tire chuncks around the track.

Audi should be hungrey now for a win next year.
Now that they have one do you think Peugeot will pull out like they said they would?
