Oh boy, another Japanese only press release to rely on. Well, according to the translation we made, along with a new (?) 1.2-litre engine available with a CVT gearbox the Swift received a handful of minor upgrades for the 2008 models. Aesthetic changes include the slightly redesigned front & rear bumpers, the new grille, the adoption of turning signals on the side mirrors and new rear light-clusters while interior changes concern the upgraded trim levels. Finally, Suzuki also slightly altered the gear ratios of the Swift Sport. Expect these mods to pass onto the European edition of the Swift later on the year.
