Mercedes Benz has been selling the CLA in record numbers. The new sports sedan has been enticing new buyers with it's slick ad campaign featuring Willem Dafoe, fittingly as the devil. The new car offers a much improved foothold into the Mercedes Benz line over the previous C-Class cars and has ignited tremendous excitement for the brand. This excitement has even lead to increased sales all the way up the line to manifest as a 17% bump in sales for the big daddy E-Class.
The CLA accounts for only a small portion of the 6.7-percent increase in September sales of Mercedes Benz. These sales have helped Mercedes to enlarge the gap between themselves and their nemesis, BMW, to 2,491 cars, according to Bloomberg.
