Scanned this from a German Mercedes enthusiast magazine. Technically this car isn't a Mercedes product at all but a one-of-a-kind car created by former touringcar racedriver Hans Heyer who started the project in 1976 and finished it in 1981.

The basis for his work was the Mercedes C107 SLC Coupe. Heyer used the 5.0-l engine and heavily modified it to produce 580-600-horsepower. It is interesting to note that Heyer used foreign parts for tuning the engine such as several engine components from AMG as well as Chevrolet. The 4-speed manual transmission was supplied by Hewland. The car weighed only 850 kg and was capable of speeds in excess of 300 km/h. Sadly, it was never used in racing but remains an interesting one-of-a-kind car.
