Since Sony has a big back pack with experience from making TV monitors their computer screens tend to be exceptionally good. Their laptop screens are top notch and judging by the looks of that sexy screen I can only assume that it has the picture quailty you would expect from Sony. One question though, why don't you buy a wide screen monitor?
I'm currently sitting on my laptop which is has a 17 inch 16:10 screen. Ever since I bought it I have absolutley no problems with large resolution pictures and barely ever need to scroll side ways. I prefer it over my 19 inch CRT montior which is hooked up to my desktop.

Yes ,wide screen is good,I have one Sony LCD 15" monitor 16:9 and he is working  ...but he is too small, and Im looking for 19" Sony LCD,and I found this SDM-HS95PR-black.this is some features of this LCD:

X-Black LCD technology delivers photos and video with true-to-life intensity Vivid video game animation pulls you into the action
8 millisecond response time for ultra high quality video playback and video editing
Ultra high brightness (420cd/m²) contrast (580:1) ultra high brightness & fast screen refresh - for best-in-class quality and precision
Wide viewing angle - the screen can be viewed clearly & comfortably from the side top or bottom (160 degree horizontal 160 degree vertical)

yours propositions are welcome :usa7uh:

The value is with Samsung, and their screens are terrific. Really, it's hard to go wrong with almost any brand right now. Just consider that there's a very limited amount of LED OEMs, and Samsung is one of them. They've invested an incredible amount of capital into becoming a dominant force in LCD production, so you're reaping a good amount of somebody else's sweat when you buy one of their screens.
