Now that is totally hott... but such a pity the added camo' gives the car that 'beefy' and muscular look which wont be all there when in the final product. Just look at the flared front wheel arch! If that's how flared it were in the final product, then that would be irresistable!!

Im starting to love the stance of this car. So low, so planted to the ground, and wide! ..and oh, them BBS rims look awesome too. I can't wait to see what wheel design the new X5 has. I was very disappointed in the wheels of the 3er coupe press photos, so I hope the X5 continues the great wheels designs of the 7er, 6er, 5er, 3er, 1er, Z4..and the list goes on.

this car is really starting to shape up. I was a bit skeptical at first but now im just loving it. It does look low and agressive wich i love about suv's. cant wait to see how the interior turns out cause i really love bmw interiors like the 5er and the 7er. When is this thing going to be officially released?

look at the indicators, just like on the M3 when fotographed it shows several orange dots, not just one bulb. Are these Led's? The new tech from Hella? Or is it just the camera creating an effect?

1. Maybe pics were taken before FEP phases - when E70 prototypes were still driving around in heavy camo.

2. Could be a X6 mule.

I was told camoed E70 mules will be used for initial X6 components testing - before X6 prototypes getting original X6 body shell.

I'm surprised no spy photographer has yet taken pics of 2er coupe driving around Munich - camouflaged as 2er cabrio (imitating cabrio roof). Are they so stupid they do not recognize the difference? It's obvious.

LEDs: I'm more sure (but not 100%) rear blinkers will get CELIS LED tech (optical fiber strip). Headlights could get some LEDs for side positioners (like e.g. LEDs in E60 eyebrows). I'll try to find out some more.

Are you sure these aren't PSed?

If they aren't they look alright but not as aggressive as I would have hoped!

Of course they are PSed!

The black tape was digitally removed from the headlights & foglights to expose the shape.

But the car still had it.

Think: why would they removed the tape from the headlights, while leaving it on all other places? Answer: they did not removed it - it was still there, but pics were PSed.

But the pics show well the shape of headlights - but still not the details & the depth. Mind E92 PSed spy pics & final official pics of E92. PSed spy pics were close but still way off in details. Same case here.

tobajara, you should expect pictures like this to have been PSed, it is unusual car companies would allow a prototype out with key parts such as lights not covered up!

Yeah, but this looks more...subtle. The profile of the car seems unchanged - merely the front and rear ends.

both front and rear lights is going to have larger changes than the ML. just wait for the uncovered version.
