An R107 Mercedes SL with the ugly US-spec sealed beam headlights. Terrible. So he changes the lights, but he leaves the bumpers in Eruo-spec mode...:t-crazy2:

Opel Commodore, a very attractive premium car in its day. Interesting how Opel went from being a BMW and Mercedes competitor to a producer of mainstream cars in the 1980s.

This was BEAUTIFUL! Classic Maserati Quattroporte sedan. Just lovely. Look at this thing! The owner even allowed me to seat myself into the front passenger seat to take some interior pictures. One of my favorite cars from the show!

Miami Vice Umbau? :eusa_doh: What makes people do such things to classic cars? :t-banghea
I just checked mobile.de for Murenas and the most expensive one was €6,500...

I know this car. A customer had one like this once and after work we had a talk about this. If i recall correctly, we should be talking about the car for more than 30mins. At last, he offered me a ride. I accepted it (of course) and i was impressed! Great car despite its age!

Guys, what is Miami Vice Umbau?

Well, "Umbau" translates as "rebuild". Supposedly the owner has wanted to make his car look like the cars on the TV show, so he has extensively modified the car to alter its appearance. Not that it looks anything like a Ferrari Testarossa (which was white, for crying out loud) or a Daytona Spyder. But hey, he couldn't even spell 'Peugeot'. :D
