The woman is sitting way too close to the steering wheel, how can she drive properly with her arms so close to the wheel?
Maybe exaust regeneration process aborted. That's happens in city driving. Common problem for newer diesels.I've been driving an E 220d for the last two weeks because there's a serious Problem with my car. Apparently there's something wrong with the exhaustion. The exhaustgasses are "pushing" against something and can't easily flow away. Sensors notice this and they put my car in somekind of safetymode (Max rpm 3.000, maximum gear 5th and no kick-down). MB has changed/renewed all sensors and sockets in that part of the motor. Now they're looking info the catalytic converter. The worst thing is, the time I've lost. Been there 3 times and the problem isn't solved yet. I'm even thinking about buying something else.
Thanks for your input. Not likely, it's a longdistance vehicle, mostly Autobahn/ highway.Maybe exaust regeneration process aborted. That's happens in city driving. Common problem for newer diesels.
In those two weeks I got it back 3 times, being told it was repaired. In all 3 times the same problem occured again the next day. If I get the car back this week and the problem still occurs, I'm going to sell my car.
Good question. I don't know yet. I wanted the FL W222 coming next August. However, if this contineous, I shall not wait for it.If you sell your car what you thinking to buy ...S Coupe? E CLASS ?
If you ask me, Mercedes-Benz Sindelfingen knows exactly what's wrong...
