Maybe it's the Airmatic suspension on it's highest setting. Talking of which, IMO looking at the tire sizes this will be a typical-Mercedes comfortable ride.

That front ... Could be GLA, B-class, A-class ... MB got infected from that "we-just-look-the-same" virus too.

The side / rear still looks too sedan-ish too me.

It's a stylish car though. I can easily imagine Victoria Beckham or Christiano Ronaldo driving it.

Don't blame the car, blame the class. Somehow, some honchos decided that the world needed a sports utility four door fastback coupe and that this was a good idea.

So now we have the SAC-o-poo and the GLEwww. I was initially a little enamoured with this new Merc for so adroitly avoiding being a carbon-copy (styling wise) of the class progenitor but now I'm right back in yuck mode. Yuck!

Thus, now is the right time to transfer the logic of the S, E, C, B, A to the SUVs. It is a unique opportunity. And as Auto Motor und Sport had written, the GL is the S-Class in the SUV category. Logically it will become the GLS now. Although the designation M-class is replaced by GLE: Everyone understands the new logic immediately.

Agreed. Hopefully MB learnt from the R-Class and may wish to focus the GLE Coupe on the Asian markets.

Bad pics? Geez .. Am I producing them? No. They emerge on the net, taken by amateurs ... first GLE IRL pics. Consequently they are low quality photos. Am I at fault on most of them GLE coupe looks bad? Certainly not. I would definitely love to post nice and hi-q IRL photo if available. There is quite discrepancy what amateur photos portray (in contrast to profi ones). Interestingly the X6 amateur IRL photos appear to portray the car in better light than profi / official photos themselves.

Sure I comment on & ridicule GLE coupe (yet I admit i looks stylish though) ... Am I not aloud? Don't want to read my posts? Put me on ignore list. Simple as that.

Turning members against it? Yeah ... since I posses magic powers and can influence people's minds. The allmighty evil EnI. Chill out, dude. It's just a car forum.

Yeah I saw the 7 series thread but I think the guys are taking it to the extreme now with these spyshots.

Also, the 63 prob rides lower, as with the GLE / M-Class. More like the concept below.

They mention 'Replace the GL'. They mean renew it right? Unless hopefully the facelift is going to be a big transformation to make it truly worthy of the 'S' moniker. I doubt it though.
