5 Series BMW 5 Series (G30/31/32) Spy Pics & Info Discussion

The BMW 5 Series is an executive car manufactured and marketed by BMW since 1972. The car is sold as either a sedan or, since 1991, a station wagon (marketed as "Touring"). A 5-door fastback (marketed as "Gran Turismo") was sold between 2009 and 2017. Each successive generation has been given an internal G-code designation since 2017. Previously, a F-code designation was used between 2010 and 2016, while an E-code designation was used between 1972 and 2010. These are used to distinguish each model and generation from each other.

Yeah, best to just delete that whole post @admins
Might be a bit confusing for non die hard insiders right now.

I like the AMS render, the Topspeed one a little less so.

It looks like it is made up of nearly every element of design from BMWs product line today. Thankfully it is not it.
You will know what it will be the best looking and overall best car in the business class.

I am glad the 5er will not look like that. That silhouette is more befitting a 3er than a 5er, and with the upcoming 3er, I expect a more radical front. It's going to be tough to follow the F10, which I still think is the best looking of all the executive sedans out right now.

Ba ba ba guys, there are non marketing guys here who only post "my brand is the best" stuff as well. It is part of the forum. Scott writtes somo valuable posts here.

It's Friday Betty, pick some nice girl with the R8 and have a good gin tonic ;)

That's the thing. I'm not singling out Scott for any special attention. I'm treating him exactly how I would treat ANYBODY coming onto a ALL German car fan site and posting incessantly that THEIR brand is the best. I'm taking the piss.

Why should Scott be immune from that just because he also posts some valuable stuff? When he posts valuable stuff he gets the credit, rightly so. When he posts marketing BS then he gets the piss taken out of him. Seems reasonable to me.

Somebody with some character at least. Not some robot.

I know exactly who you're referencing, as I'm sure other people do. "Robotic" is EXACTLY how you should be if you make it publicly known you have a professional interest in a certain brand. Scott is free to post what and whenever he likes. But this site ISN'T an arm of BMW Marketing. He comes on here of his own free will and he clearly enjoys the respect some people give him simply because of who he works for, but he's not doing it out of the goodness of his heart!
