Thanks mate. Have you heard what the MY16 updates will be and when MY16 will go into production? We're thinking about replacing our W204 a bit earlier than anticipated depending on a few things.

Great thank you. I can't wait to see the c63 and c450. We're looking at a c250 petrol, so it doesn't look like much new to report. I guess minor spec adjustments perhaps? Any word on the 9G tronic?

^ The C 300 Coupe Autobild just had a first ride in, had the 7G, thus it doesn't look like the 9G might come to the C-Class gassers. Some folks speculate it may be offered on the diesels. For the compacts a new smartphone integration kit became available in MY2016, which could also be offered in other model series. It comes standard with COMAND.

Great thanks. Shame there's no 9G. Perhaps for the facelift. That said it might be worth requesting a MY16 if we wanted the chance of getting carplay (though not confirmed yet). I did read somewhere that it wouldn't be retrofittable.

Yes, it's not retrofittable, and also, while it can be ordered now, it won't ship before the first quarter of next year, at the earliest.

We just bought a Polar White C250 with Cranberry Red interior to replace mums 2008 Model W204 C200 Kompressor. The car is pretty much loaded with everything, including the AMG Kit and Airmatic. The only omission is the air balance package as it eats too much room in the glove box.

Can't wait to take delivery sometime mid to late August, though it will be sad to see the W204 go as the car has been pretty much flawless since day 1 and still looks quite a treat.

Love the Cranberry interior, been messing around with the online configurator to see what would work well with it. Well done btw, brilliant car!

Hi Wolfgang, Please tell MBUSA to start making the W205 RWD Bluetec A.S.A.P. Because, Audi is going to offer the new A4 in diesel coming March 2016. And why in the world do they offer the GLC with 9G and still keep the C with 7G ? It does not make sense at all.

Hello dtd, suggest to let your MB dealer know you are looking for a RWD diesel. At present MBUSA seems to only plan the 4Matic versions, starting in February of 2016.

I know, but you are the MB guru in this forum, so your voice has some weight. Anyway, if MB does not offer diesel right away ( I mean within 6 months), at least they should offer the 9G, to keep the C in the leading edge. I am saving money for the C, but new competitor like the Alfa Romeo Giulia is tearing me off. I think the new A4 is very interesting in term of engines and technology, but i'm not too excited about the style. Come on MB, don't disappoint me.

I suspect they'll be a comprehensive mechanical upgrade (engine and transmissions) when the FL debuts in the first half of 2017.

Oh no doubt about it. MY2017 would be the right time for the FL. By the end of 2017, there will be a new BMW 3er.It's just on and on.By the way, Mr. Mercedes, how do you like the new Alfa Romeo Giulia? Do you think it will be able to compete with the big 3 Germans?

It's very pretty. I just don't know how they'll fare in terms of quality and reliability. I really am not all to familiar with Alfa's and I've never driven one.
