It has less power (by less than 30 hp), but it weighs a lot less. It also has a bit more torque (21 lb. ft. more). Ford GTs on the dyno read very high, so some say they have more power than officially quoted. There is also more drivetrain loss of power on the Lamborghini since it's all-wheel-drive.BMW_Dude said:Nice video, thanks for posting!
I didn't think the M5 would keep up as well as it has, considering as it sounds like there are 4 people on board! The GT is very fast, didn't expect it to be so fast, considering it has less power than the Lambo!
One site said 3350 weight for the GT while another said 3500. The car has 550 horsepower, so work it out from there. I'm not really sure what the most common representation of power to weight ratio is for US (or UK or Europe for that matter).drronh said:It's too bad the GT is built so poorly (IMO)
Did anyone see the article in one of the car mags about 1-2 years ago with the Viper SRT-10 vs the ford- I seem to remember the performance numbers were just about even and the Viper lapped their track faster, for half the price. Does anyone know offhand the P/W ratio of these cars?
