OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG
This car is a real deal.
Driving around in this car in your hometown...
Hahaha, I felt so good I almost started talking like 50'cent...
First long time since I've had a sleek co-piloted test drive with my
motorjournalist. and last time we where out for a little spin he was driving
the Audi R8... but this machine is totaly different..
as the topic says this is a supercar, R8 is a intense sportscar.
So the SLR.
First it looks so dramatic, the loong hood the little cabin the sharpend edges WOW I love the design. ...
the car is about 6 years but it's still turn heads over and over again.
We were stopping for a boy who was about 14-15 years old when
he was crossing the road, haha, poor heart, when he saw the machine
he jumped two meters up in the air, screaming S L R WOooaaahaaa!
The he almost started crying
it's quite a load this car..
Sound wise the V8 is so naughty it almost changes your heart beat..
lovely.
We have a standard route we always drive when he has some nice cars.
The road contanins highway and twisty country roads..
In those twist twisty turns where the car almost feels bigger
than the road it self the car corners like my old smart brabus, (go-cart)
so precise and so great feel and response (my friend tells me)
while taking a almost U-turn in 100 km/t, he said the reason this car
does so well on track is becuse of the grip and how responsive the car is.
It does excatly what you tell the machine to do and never fails.
Acceleration,
Trying to put your foot all the way down brings "no joy". (not completly true)
The ESP system is allready flashing on the display from 1,500 rpm
(half throttle) and all the way up to 6,000 and full throttle..
But there is no completly power cut from the engine
(even if the ESP are flashing) I was shocked how brutal the acceleration really is in a supercar.
Compared to the sportscar I've tested before.
All I could think of is, this is life... and life is wounderful...
The doors,
let me just say I love the doors...
Last:
