They couldn't be more different in style/looks/design. They'll both be popular in the U.S. due to the downturn from larger vehicles of this type, cheaper entrance prices and better efficiency. M

| Re: Official Audi Q5 Thread I must say, this really isn't bad looking at all. I think I like the interior of the Q5 better than the GLK. It's more cohesive and flowing. The GLK's looks like a bunch of different pieces put together.

| Re: Official Audi Q5 Thread The exterior is nice, the interior is nice. And, really that's all it is. Nice. BTW, what's the ground clearance?

| Re: Official Audi Q5 Thread from the press release: The Audi Q5’s climbing capability of 31 degrees of incline is exceptional. The overhang angle is 25 degrees thanks to the short front overhang. The ramp breakover angle, determined by the wheelbase, is 17.5 degrees. Ground clearance is an impressive 20 centimeters (7.87 inches), with a fording depth of up to 50 centimeters (19.69 inches) when driving through water. Anybody else have similar data for GLK and X3 for comparison? |

| Road and Track Live Pics...... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You know what, this new Q5 might not have impressed right away, but like most Audis the more look at it the more beautiful it becomes. This is a really good looking little suv, even if it is an Simon Cowell says it is very "safe" in its design. M

| Re: Official Audi Q5 Thread ![]() I could live with that. For once I;m not fussed on an Audi interior. It is extremely boring. Not liking this class at all. Hope the new X3 is the goods...

| Re: Official Audi Q5 Thread Alright, here comes my thoughts of the car: - i really like the rear! It's perfection! - i do NOT like the front lights. I don't know what Audi is thinking with all those different placings of the LED lights. The R8 and A5/S5 went in the same direction, makin' it a Audi-thing to have LEDs in the bottom of the light. Then came the A4 with the rollercoaster-LED in the middle, then the A3 Cab in the middle/upper corner, and now this!? Make up your mind Audi! These lights, I don't like! - the front could be a little more shaped. Overall, it's a very nice car, but nothing I would drool about.

| Re: Official Audi Q5 Thread Even in white, which is the colour of the moment, the Q5 looks unexceptional. I concede that it's got a good dose of mainstream appeal but so what...

| Re: Official Audi Q5 Thread ![]() This is without a doubt the best looking SUV on the road right now. The side and rear reviews are the most impressive, especially the rear which is a work of art. The front is less successful in my eyes but still better than any other, and the interior is pure Audi - in other words quality of the highest order.
