Hey Matt, neat shots.

Here's my best stuff:

In front of my old apartment, in Berlin

A moth that landed on my keyboard a few years ago

Holocaust memorial in Berlin

Hipster-induced blight in Prenzlauer Berg

More of the same. Prenzlauer Berg is like a stock photography wet dream.

Strawberry

Apartment building in Genoa

My trusty leather jacket

Berlin's world famous "blown up old church"

The Berlin cathedral, photographed very early in the morning

A typical alleyway in downtown LA

A typical street in downtown LA, although I must say... the absense of litter in this photo is mighty queer.

A vodka-soaked Argentine man walks out onto the balcony with a swiffer brush to clean the
sky of hallucinations. He's being passed by a drug-frazzled Macedonian guy who at one
point intimated that he's ready to murder somebody; perhaps me. I got scared and left.

Wow I am really impressed! All of you put me to shame lol. I actually have some of notics pics saved on my hard drive from looking at them. The strawberry is probably my favorite along with the moth on the key board.

I also like the apple pic along with las Vegas at night. Keep them coming...

I thought I'd buck the streetscape/still life fetish and post some portraits :) these are all hitched straight offa my deviantart site so apoligies for the tacky borders.... they seem to be a prerequisite for posting on that site...

I'm a point and shoot photographer so most of my shots aren't that artistic.
Here's a few of mine that I like:

Some great pictures guys, I'm sure Jack will be here soon showing us some of his great pics!

I'll post some of my great pics later!

WOW, you guys have some real talent!
I use my cell phone camera to shoot pictures. I'm no professional like some of you, but I still try :D

The Empire State Building:

New York skyline at night:

I really wish this shot came out better: A beautiful sight of the Hudson River with fog covering most of the boat.

Manhattanhenge: the sun aligned with the street grid lines during sunset. Ain't it beautiful?

Woah! I'm blown away by some of this stuff. I didn't know we had so many photophiles in the GCF gang.

Notic - I love the shots you posted. Especially the towering apartment building.

Germaniac - I assume those are aborigines? Good stuff. I have a very hard time shooting people.

I noticed the gamma on my earlier photos were junk if you're using windows, so I fixed 'em up. Looked really dark on my PC.

Here's a couple more of my faves. The 1st of which I have a special affection for because I climbed up no less than 509 steps to get the shot.

Is that munster cathedral in Germany?? Ive climbed that before I think if thats the same thing.

Hey guys, I have an idea: we could make a weekly photo competition and every week make a thread to enter and thread to vote for the competitors! It's a great thing, I know it from other forums, (Zonda too). The reason I didn't make it here is that I didn't know there so much great photographers here. We can split it in two parts: Automotive competition (you enter just car pics) and General (nature, animals, sunsets etc.). There would be some rules and other stuff...
Here, you can see how it looks!
