XF Jaguar XF Thread (pics & info)

The Jaguar XF (X250) is an executive luxury sports saloon car that was manufactured and marketed by the British automobile manufacturer Jaguar Cars. Launched in Autumn 2007 as a replacement for the S-Type, the XF was designated internally as the X250. The X250 was succeeded by the X260 in 2015.
Re: 2008 Jaguar XF thread

I'm trying to like this car, really I am. I do like the chrome window surround, very classy. I just hope it isn't as slab sided as the concept C-XF was. It almost looks like a Lexus GS under the wraps.

I hope the front lights aren't as weird as in the concept. :eusa_pray

SPY PHOTOS: Jaguar XF Latest

Forget about the C

Our spies in Scandinavia have now captured shots of an early prototype of a “production-intent” Jaguar XF rolling around on the streets of northern Sweden and parking alongside its predecessor – the current Jaguary S-Type.

Re: SPY PHOTOS: Jaguar XF Latest

Jeez...even covered up the XF looks better than the S-type...LOL

If ford doesn't decide to go cheap and completely screw up the Concepts mojo, they might have a winner here.

I agree, Jaguar need this car to succeed, or it's going no where!

The XK was a great start, and hopefully this will continue the trend!

Re: SPY PHOTOS: Jaguar XF Latest

the interior is B3 A8 meets the nineties
nothing special
although there is this big fuss about their drive by wire transmission

Re: SPY PHOTOS: Jaguar XF Latest

Hmm, the interior. It doesn't have the classic Jaguar look, but it isn't that bad either. BTW, do i see leather stiches?

PS. I wish it looked more like this:

classy and classic

Re: Jaguar XF Thread (Spy pics & info)

Wow, you guys seem to hate the interior, how come? To me it looks pretty neat, except that I'm skeptical about the quality feel of all them plastic bottles

Re: Jaguar XF Thread (Spy pics & info)

jag interiors have always been old school classy
even the new XK doens't depart from the basic ideas
this looks halfways between an A8 (between the sloping dash and the nav system) and a nineties lexus (with the wood and layout)
it's not abd, it just doesn't do justice to the C-XF

Re: Jaguar XF Thread (Spy pics & info)

The first thought that came into my mind when seeing that interior was Lexus for some reason!

I agree it's not radical, but it's very different for Jaguar, and I'm sure it will look good in the end!

Re: Jaguar XF Thread (Spy pics & info)

I actually like it. :) Not as much as the XK interior but it's a refreshing change from the S-Type. :usa7uh:

Re: Jaguar XF Thread (Spy pics & info)

The rear lights kind of remind me of the new Mondeo. Aside from that I also noticed in the rear shot of both the XF and S type how much lower the XF sits, and how much more steeply raked the rear glass is.

Re: Jaguar XF Thread (Spy pics & info)

We reported a while back that Jaguar is planning on releasing two supercharged versions of the XF, one of which would use the current S-Type R’s 4.2L V8 producing around 420 horsepower, and the other using a supercharged 5.0L V8 producing in excess of 500 hp.

The XKR Coupe with which these XF mules were spotted, the one with JaguarDrive gear selector, is likely housing the supercharged 5.0L V8 that will also be used in the ultra high-performance XF sedan.
