Today I had the chance to testdrive a C63 AMG - but I couldn't because of the friggin weather! It was raining like crazy and the roads were wet and slippery and this means driving a power monster like the C63 AMG was out of the question. The dealer won't even let you drive E320 CDI's in this type of weather!

Man I am pissed off as hell! Stupid weather! Stupid friggin useless weather! The whole week it is hot as hell and on this special day it has to rain! :t-banghea

The C63 AMG is not going to be here tomorrow and that new SL350 is going to be gone as well. Man I am cursing at this stupid weather! Why today!? Why!?

Damn it damn it damn it! :t-banghea

 
Oh damn!! I feel so sorry for you - and for all of us, because of the awesome report, we will not be able to read, now!! :( Sad news!!

Maybe its a good thing, otherwise you might have driven off the road :D Hopefully I get my chance in September.

Funny you should mention that though, because that's exactly what I had a brief drive in this morning!

I'll save my comments for after you've had your drive; wouldn't want to spoil your day any further by telling you how gutterally explosive the acceleration is or how menacingly baritone that V8 sounds, or how the ride isn't as firm as I was expecting or even how quickly it gets to 200 km/h.

No, I'll be kind and mention none of that at all!

Owch! sorry man the weather over here is great:D But sadly every time I go to dealers..it rains and I'm not old enough to test drive them so I have to look:(
 
Funny how the weather can vary from diff parts of the world,here it's flaming hot almost 40C burning.So sorry to see that happens to u i was really looking forward to ur review:eusa_doh::D

Hope you get another chance soon.

I took your advise and went to MB World, and guess what I had a 15 minute AMG experience in a C63 I wasn't able to drive it beacause I did not pre-book, next best thing in the hands of an AMG trained driver, simply sensational.

Like you mentioned in one of your posts, it will be very difficult if not impossible to utilise such a wonderful car to its full potential, regular track visits will be required.

On a typical day my trip computer calculates my average journey speed as 17 mph (Central London)

I will be visiting MB World in a couple of weeks time for my drive. :t-cheers:

As you can see, it is already completely different here in germany. I live near the baltic sea in the very north-east of germany, and we have absolutely awesome weather. Since two to three weeks, the sun is shining and we have 20°C to 30 °C! Christian, who is living in the south of germany has rain etc. :D

That is just ironic and he might move to ur area:D
 
Don't feel bad.

We got our 1st C63 in, and I was in the driver seat with it running, and decided I would forgo a test drive till later. Someone walked in and bought the next day. It's paid for, but still sitting on our showroom, staring at me. So no test drive till we get another, which might be a while.
