G- i love it..its just so old school and hot..give me a G55:D
ML- had a hard time to choose between this and the G.. so a solid second place..just cause the G is such an icon..
GL-- lovely car.. but to large for me..
R-- Vans isnt my deal.. but as far as vans go..it rocks..

My choice: Mercedes-Benz GL

Reason: The size and ability of this vehicle. I also love it's looks from the grill to the tail lights. Interior is very clean cut as well

4th - R: Still don't like the exterior design of the R, nor the concept of it (idea). Looks like a big wagon and an ugly one at that (IMO anyways)

3th - G: The G-Class will be the second which I strike from my list. While I think the exterior design is still pretty funky, to be frank, I find it quite poser.

2nd and 1st

So then, that leaves the GL and the ML. Honestly, I think the GL might be a couple of sizes too big for my needs, but I still have an affection for it. I'm tempted, but the size.. So then, the ML is my choice.

Preferably a ML320 CDI (my uncle has one, it's kick ass!)

ML for me. After my recent runins with the ML63 AMG that lives in my neighborhood, I can't imagine a nicer, more capable SUV. It's very nice looking as well.

Of course, intended use would come into play. I'm guessing that most SUV owner's aren't doing much off-roading anyway. So, give me the ML AMG variant. I'll get a set of winter wheels and tires and have one of the fastest, nicest SUVs on earth...

ooo! ooo! the G! the G!

I've seen it and admired its uniqueness forever:bowdown:

One thing for sure .. it can't be confused!

That is one masculine, Big Boy benz!

To be honest I'm not that fond of any of these cars except the G-wagon. If I wanted a big luxury car with a huge boot I would by no other car than the Range Rover(non sport)

I'm actually a really big fan of the ML... I think that stems back from when the ML was used in The Lost World. But I like the way it's a nice cross between a truck and luxury.

Road Test: 2006 Mercedes-Benz ML500 vs. 2006 Range Rover Sport

- 2006 Luxury SUV Handling, Suspension & Performance

After seeing the GL IRL, I was really impressed about it's huge presence.

G-wagon is the ultimate off-roader in the world..It was & still is my most favorite SUV in the world..but after the launch of the GL & seeing its performance I started loving it and that love grown very fast..now GL is almost near to the G-wagon in my mind..but G won my vote..If there were more choice, then my next vote after GL will go to Range Rover HSE

My choice:

1. G - class: the best offroader in the world with tank like build
2. GL- class: A mixture of S-class luxury & G-class offroad capabilities
3. R - class: Its not really a SUV, but a cross-over, but a perfect vehicle for family
4. ML- class: Its a small brother of GL, but not a fullfledge off-roader.

Easy first choice would be a ML63 AMG. After that I think I'd have a G55 AMG with some type of trick designo package. Then lastly a nice GL450 Premier Edition (U.S. model only) and lastly a R550 when they update it with the new engine.

1. GL-- Truely awesome..Wheres The AMG Bi turbo!!!
2. G - Still a classic - Wheres the G63
3. ML - Awesome looking SUV..

I WILL NOT INSULT MYSELF BY GRADING THE RRRRRRR.....:D

:t-cheers:

1. The ML, looks awesome in AMG trim and looks classy in normal trim. It's one of my favourite SUVs, not a huge fan of the interior though.

2. G class, looks amazing in AMG trim and in black, a really gangster's car, and had lots of character. Isn't as good to drive as the ML, and is very expensive in the UK.

3. The GL, have only seen one in the UK, there's one near where I live, and it's a huge car, way too big for a roads.

4. The R class, seen a few but they look like a van, think MB made a mistake with this car!

Consider me a rebel, but the R is my favorite. I've been able to spend a lot of time in the ML, GL, G and R. If I owned one it would be the R or ML. The R has tons of room, and has the best highway ride of any car I've driven. Call me crazy but I like the looks. My father picked up an R this year through my employee discount. He loves it.

The G would be great if I were a missionary in Africa or Bolivia.

The GL is a great looking, great drving SUV. however it has exactly the same space in the front and middle seating positions as the ML.

1. G. I like it's old-school styling and timelessness.
2. GL. I feel it's more of a proper Merc than its baby brother.
3. R. I don't really mind the looks or the concept. In fact, I secretly desire to own an R63 AMG.

4. ML. This model leaves me cold.

R Lovers should be tried for Treason and Shot!!! Hhaha..J/K...;)
Hows the R class received in UK? Is it getting popular there or same as USA?.

I chose the ML, although none of these Benzes really appeal to me. I agree with Luw, the RR Sport takes the cake. ;)
