I was visiting some friends in the small town of Gilching (outside of Munich). Chris Bangle lives there and I also know which house.
Anyway, on the way home I decided to walk past his house and sure enough the man himself was outside talking to his neighbor in German!
He was wearing a yellow sweater and blue jeans and in his driveway was a brand new black BMW 7-Series with "BMW Active Xenon Lights" (stamped upfront on the headlights) and a BMW C1.
I was 20 meters away on the other side of the road and I saw him - and he saw me.
Naturally I would have wanted to take pictures or ask him if it was cool if we were photographed together but I didn't quite muster up the courage for that.
I heard he's going to Italy to design furniture from now on...
