0-60 km/h in 1,9 seconds from a RWD car. Impressive. But I still thinks it's a bit over-optimistic.:D

Thanks for the scan, btw. :t-cheers:

Remarkable that they would compare the RS5 to a 911 (clearly a true sports car and not a GT) and then ding the 911 for lack of "practicality" and comfort.

Did they really need to drive the two cars to come to this enlightened conclusion?

What next, RS5 vs. XJ Supersport, Cayenne Turbo, or Toyota Prius?

I am actually intrigued by the RS5, even to the point of interest, but this comparison is nonsense.:t-crazy2:

Here is similar test of E90 M3 and C63 by same magazine. Both E90 M3 and C63 was faster than RS5 in the handling test. 1.38.7 for M3 (that is 2 secs faster than RS5) and 1.40.0 by C63. Of course, tests done on different days are not really comparable, but 2 secs is still a big ass gap.

Like I said in the other thread, despite the lost for the 911, it's still a better sportscar, quicker, better handling and more entertaining. Neither RS5 or M3 can match that.

We know RS5 and M3 are more practical, roomier and comfy and cheaper than a 911, if thats more important then the Porsche is not for you.

Still, it's impressive the fact that, out of these 4 cars, the RS5 is the one that achieves the highest speed in a slalom.
