The M6 is ugly and I can't stand its looks. CLK for me.

I would choose the M6, over the CLK63 but if the CLK had the DTM kit or some other extended fender kit, i would probably go for the CLK.

Damn, this is a tough one. The changes to the CLK make it a lot more appealing. Of course, having good specs on paper and being good in the real world are two very different things. As of now, I would go for the M6. It has proven itself. The CLK63 is all speculation. I really want to see this CLK63 in black. I think it would be quite the Q car.

How come we have such a small pic of the 6er, on top of that no pic of drop top M6. I think the convertible 6er might be the ulgiest convertible on the market today.

Anyway this is a tough choice. I happen to like the M6 quit a bit, the CLK63 just has more sex appeal and is more of a showoff car. The M6 is just more serious about itself. The fun facter for both these car are high but thay express themselves on different levels.

Given my driving habits I`d choose the CLK63. That car would be perfect for my situation.


I can imagine how awesome the CLK63 would look in black with those wheels.... damn!!!!!

Ugliest? well that's a matter of taste... from a personal experience though... I am almost all the time getting compliments on my 650 cabrio, plus I get pictures taken.... this has never happened with my other cars.. including my Mercedeses.....

I voted for the M6. Sure, CLK is a very nice looking coupe, selling good (i see more than 15 of them everyday) and of good quality materials. Just a very good coupe.

On the other hand, M6 is, for me, beautiful, for many of you, good looking, and some might find it ugly, but it is Impressive. It catches your eye in the first look. It good looking, great engine and good quality of materials.

So, speeking of my mind and my heart, i voted for the M6!

CLK and 6 series are not in the same league and the same goes for AMG and M versions. M6 is more upmarket despite the power the CLK has. M6 should be compared to CLS63 AMG even though CLS is not a classic coupe.

GTA - I think your comment about the 6er looks was a bit harsh but it is your opinion so who am I to judge. But I feel the way you back tracked just because another forum member has one was terrible.

The fact that a member owns a car..does not matter at all.. and should not be a reason for other members to hold back their opinion on the car.. thats just BS imo..
look at sunnyman for example he just said that the C class is crap.. i own a c class.. do i care for his opinon.. not very much..
so this should not be an issue

The CLK class cars are good vehicles. The CLK55 has gotton some nice reviews (The CLK63 should be even better) here are some examples.
It`s not perfect but what car is...

You know very much about Merc's....
If you say that cause you've drivin both, than you dont have feelings, thats the problem
