Very tough choise between these three cars. Thank God I will never make so much money, so that I will have to choose one of those
So, let's see:
Mercedes Benz E63 AMG: Is it the wolf in the sheep's clothes, as AMG (and M) always brag about their cars? Not exactly. It is a wolf, but not in a sheep's clothes. It's got a great engine, the M156 must be one of the best engines germany offers today. We all know it. But what needs to be discussed here is the rest of the car. At first sight it looks like the typical everyone-and-his-mother-has-one E class, but with a second look, you will notice the 4 exhausts and the shouty bumpers. The W211 E55 AMG was done with more taste, and was much more discreet. That is something I don't like about the E63, but definitely it's not an ugly car. It's very nice, but in it's AMG form, it needs just a little bit more in the exterior design, to be the perfect car! The interior is very nice, too, but both the Panamera and the 4Porte are a big step ahead with their interiors.
Porsche Panamera Turbo: Unless you have a problem digesting the looks of it, then it's a hell of a car! Sure, it's design is not for everyone, but the interior is fantastic, both sporty and luxurious, probably top notch quality, and the performance is from the heavens. I don't know what's better to drive, the E63 or the Panamera though. There are not many things to be said about this car. Bottom line, if you like the exterior design, it's a fantastic car!
Maserati Quattroporte: It's got the looks, but does it have a soul? Very beautiful car, in my opinion, but sadly it's no much for either the E63 or the Panamera. If it drove like the Panamera, then it would be my choise.
My choise would be the Porsche Panamera. I like the looks of it, it's got a great interior, fantastic engine, 500hp, must be a great drive, and the looks are not common like the E63, which AMG or not, looks like a plain E200. If I was in that price range, I'd like my car to have the edge with its design, then drive good. After all, with all that money spent on a car, it's prestige first, drive second...
