Difficult! Both are absolutely gorgeous!! But I go for the 3-series here!! Love the design of it…although I really like the softtop of the A5!!

Easily the Audi A5 Cabrio. I'd sacrifice a bit of handling for sexy styling. Can't wait for the E-Class cabrio though-can't wait to see a comparo between the three german cabrios.

The A5 looks muscular and aggressive yet beautiful and refined.
For me, however, there is only one choice - the mighty 3

Although the front of the Audi looks so much better, the side profile and possibly rear suffers to the Bimmer's much more sporty look. The Audi's side profile looks kind of like a boat to me, very dated and aged. IMO. Interior wise their virtually identical and I would not care. So my vote goes to the more sporty looking Bimmer. :t-cheers:

Give me the coupe please! But...if I had to go with the cab, I'd go with the 3er simply because of the hard-top.

Easy, the Bimmer gets my vote! I'm not a fan of cars with top down, still 3er's top actually looks good! :usa7uh:

3er Cabrio>Coupe in one for me please - no comparison

I prefer 3 series for many reasons. I would take the Audi for 1 reason only, otherwise its boring to look at. Its like a larger A3 cabriolet.

3er all the way. But the A5 cabrio is a nice looking car. It's just so heavy and slow.

Hmmm, something's amiss here. A5 has a soft roof and is lighter: 1660 kg for the 2.0 TDI model they tested VS the BMWs 1730 kg for the 320d.

Also, the quoted 0-100 km/h figures do not match the official quotes:
A5 9.3s
3er 8.6s

Only thing quoted right is the top speed.

I'll take the BMW.

Recently saw the new Audi A5 Cabrio on the street and it looks terrible. The regular A5/S5 coupe is one of the hottest cars on the road but the convertible just doesn't work for me.

Hard to vote here.

The A5 would get my vote for its beautiful clean design, and for its sexy soft-top.

However, I can't get over its ugly, cheap interior. I was blown away at how bad it really is, couldn't believe my eyes and hand. I'm sensitive in that area, and really here the new-gen Audis are nowhere near the splendid interior they once had.

The Beemer has a better interior (by far), but looks heavier than its beautiful coupe-sibling. And I am no fan of folding hard-tops on big cabrios.

However, the BMW engineering integrity (RWD among others), the motors, and the nicer interior get my vote.

The A5 is gorgeous. Sensational design, especially in S-guise where it has no real competition for me in that area.
Pity its interior is not on-par. Pity it's no RWD.

Sorry, this time I'll go for the Beemer.
