M3 / CLK63
Weight: 1885 / 1800 kg
0-100km/h: 5.1 / 4.4 sec
Meassured fuel consumption: 15.2 / 17.6 l/100 km

Wow the CLK looks like a real antique next to the M3. M3 for me please. I didn't know the CLK63 Cabrio had the flat-bottom steering wheel now.

Lol, which idiot came up with the idea of a clock in the instrument cluster?

The car is six years old and u see that now?:D

The CLK IMO still mangae to look good despite all those years and it's damn fast too:usa7uh:

BTW why it has only one side exhaust?

^the cabrio only has 2 tips--
Im surprised the CLK is lighter..
and im not surprised it got spanked..cuase its damn old..

ohh and the clock in the cluster is an old MB thing.. the W123 has it for example:D

I wouldn't take either one of them.

It's an old MB tradition like Artist said above. CLK, E and CLS all have it. I was actually surprised the W204 didn't get it.

My eyes go caught on the insane fuel consumption of 18.1L/100km over a 396km long journey. I guess the journalists must have driven it hard.

What are the dashes on the rev counter for? are those shift lights? The M3 is definitely the superior car as the MB is old. still looks pretty though.

Didn't know and I am glad they got rid of it, a clock has no business inside the instrument cluster.

I think the CLK exterior still holds up well, but the interior is just antique compared to M3. Just look at those grandpa seats!

vs M3

I know the CLK is old, but there is nothing all that wrong with those seats IMO.

I would go for the CLK. The M3 should be a sporty coupe because the folding roof adds to much weight. The CLK on the other hand is a Mercedes and as such it is forgiven for not being sporty...

M Convertible arent worthy the M badge. They are over-weight and not a drivers tool like the Coupé. I would never ever buy M Convertible but if I was forced to pick one of these two, a M3 Conv. DCT would be my choice. With a Convertible you want to cruise and you like the attention from people, I think M3 is doing a better job in this comparison.

M3 is my choice here, but I would've preferred a conventional ragtop (with optional removable hardtop as in the E46). I think they missed a great opportunity by not making it a carbon fiber folding hardtop.

To me, looks more like something I would want to lounge in. And that shapeless piece of plastic at the bottom of the seat...ugh!

I don't like the M3 convertible either. The performance is way too slow for what one would want for a high performance convertible.
