Pick your coupe, why and debate about these cars here.

M6-- i have no love for it, always dissliked it
Aston-- i dont have much for astons generally so no..
porsche-- gotta love it:D
Jag-- looks wierd, and sad..like the BMW
R8-- Not my choice.. cause it looks like a large TT with fancy lights
maserati-- sometimes its hot..and sometimes not.. i wouldnt dear to buy it..
Benz-- Its to damn old, okay if it was the B.S... but i cant chose this one..

PS
So porsche it is:D

I did not include the Black Series because it's base price in the US goes way over the $100,000 target at $135,000.

M6: My affection for the 6-Series has always been undecided. Sometimes I think its splendid, while other times I feel it fails to float my boat.

V8 Vantage: A fantastic alternative to the 911, and one that I very much appreciate from all aspects - engine, interior, exterior styling, etc - but I can't help but feel Its missing something.

997 C4S: Can't deny its greatness, but yet again, meh. If it were a GT3, then I'd say "hell yeah", but in standard form I can't get all that excited about the 997.

XKR: Never have been fond of Jaguar's and the new XKR is no exception.

GranTurismo: Nope...

CLK63: If it were a Black Series I might consider, but the standard one? I'll pass.

So, that leaves the Audi R8 - which I'm more than happy with. Audi really struck it big on this one. Perfect combination of futuristic styling cues mated with what is best described as a lovely interior with top notch quality, a high performance V8 and a driving experience sure to disappoint no one.

The 911 is the logical car here.
It is practical easy to live with and it has AWD.
And oh yeah it is boring also??????
How can you say that about a $90,000 Porsche with 355bhp.
From what I remember you do drive a 2002 Honda Accord EX.

The Aston, Audi and especially Maserati are going to be exclusive and they are more or less in a league of their own in this poll.
Their price slightly indicates that also.
The R8 is more of a supercar than a coupe and it is a little to overdone for me.
I could never see myself owning something that stands out so much.
The Aston looks and screams well but it is not my cup of tea.
The Jaguar nobody ever cares about for some reason people say it is boring, plain, needs more horsepower....I say people are to German biased.
The BMW is the rocket here but fast does not mean comfortable.
The CLK is old and does get shadowed by it's large family and nobody really ever wants to buy a CLK for a coupe when there is the bigger brother CL available.
The introduction of the Black Series only makes it worse.
I say it still has great style and a great interior like every Benz.
So in the end the 911 wins for me.

Umm, excuse me? Did I say it was boring? Did I deny it's greatness? No, so I don't understand what you're going on about. Never once did I say that a $90,000 355bhp Porsche was boring. Nor did I ever say that it isn't practical, or liveable.

You asked for people's opinion and now you're telling me - in some sort of provocative tone - that the 911 is the "logical choice".

Additionally, what the hell does I drive have to do with this discussion? Absolutely nothing, so I suggest we stay on topic, learn to accept others opinions (do remember you asked for people to choose their favourite car here) and not make false acusations.

The GranTurismo. It just draws me in, I love how it looks, and I'd love to drive it. I don't need a pure sports car, a GT will suit me just fine.

I meant to say how can you imply such a thing.
You do not have to get so defensive.
Last time I checked it is just a slow, biased and boring forum and only men (with one exception) type here.
Anyways the 911 is my choice.

Why? is some one holding a gun to your head and forcing you to visit "a slow, biased and boring forum". If not, feel free not to grace us with your juvenile presence.

Actually, yeah I do. You said that I said the 911 was boring, when In fact I said nothing such. And then you decided to bring up the car I drive as some sort of equalizer (implying that I drive a boring car) and that you were amazed that I thought the 911 was boring considering I drove an Accord.

Let's just drop it though.

Sunny also makes a fine point. If you don't like this "slow, biased and boring forum", you can always leave.

I like it quite fine here and there is a lot of great technical information and photographs on this website.
Can we just get back on topic debating about these cars now?

I voted for the Jaguar XKR! I like the design of the car and I love the sound of the supercharged V8! Sadly, the build quality of the interior isn't that good - but that's okay.

1. R8. I like the way it looks and judging by the reviews it's a hoot to drive, too. Feels special.
2. 911. What's not to like? Maybe it's getting a bit too common in some parts of the world not up here it's a bit different (many people would think you're a twat if you drove any of these cars...:D).
3. CLK. I'm not a fan of the standard CLK but in AMG trim it seems much more menacing and somehow more purposeful.

Those are the three cars of this bunch which I actually can honestly say I like... and how would I rank the rest? Jag, Maser, Aston, BMW probably.
