F1's crown jewel is this weekend. I haven't been excited about a race for a long time. Any predictions?

I think Mclaren wins. They'll take a 1-2. They look pretty bullet-proof on this track, although it is a bit of a lottery. Lewis Hamilton is 3-for-3 at Monaco. Will he be crowned the new king of F1? Can Alonso recover if he is beaten at the driver's track? So many intriguing possibilities.

Seriously, F1 would be unwatchable for me if Hamilton wins. All the commentators will shove down our throats the fact that he is the new racing god. I hope Hamy crashes. I don't care where (into the armco or into the harbour) and I don't care how hard (a touch with a barrier or a big shunt), but I just hope he crashes, which is probably why it won't happen.

All I'm hoping for is a non-Ferrari and non-McL win... because those two teams will win everything else.... so let's give someone else a chance.

i hope hamilton gets this one..it will be so great:D

1.Hamilton
2.Alonso
3. Raikonnen
4.Massa
You know in order to support McLaren this year i even changed my mobile phone operator to Vodafone

I only wanna see BMW in the top 5 and to strengthen their 3 position. A podium would do fine too.:D

:t-cheers:

What would be nice was if both Ferraris and Mclarens crashed out leaving BMW to take a 1-2!:D

That typical to the nature and spirit of F1.
Technocratic racing darwinism.

I think and hope Lewis will take this. But Kimi likes this track so I'm not ruling him out just yet. Will be interesting for sure.

How come you hate Hamilton so much. Give the kid a break, he is doing great. Sure he's received a lot of attention but so does every new athlete who exceeded everyones expectations, especially in their country. It is common for commentators to hype and to cheer for one of their own.

You basically answers the question. I can't stand the hype. Not every new athlete is hyped like he is. The ITV commentators and ex-F1 drivers are going overboard with their hype. They should be a little bit objective.

I want Hamilton to win at some point, but not now. I want him to crash and make mistakes before he wins. If he wins now, we'll have to keep listening to people calling him the greatest ever, blah-blah. I am Canadian and I hated Jacques Villeneuve because of his ridiculous hype. Don't think this is limited to Hamy.

I think there was only one single person ever that from time to time i wamted him to crash and that was M $chumacher. I've had my own reasons to hate him. After he left, there are only young drivers fighting for the crown and that's what i want to see and what i've been seeing so far. That makes me watch F1.

Sure you can dislike the driver and maybe want to see him crash just like i did some years ago), but regardless of not being McLaren fan, the last thing i want to happen for him is to crash. Hell no! He just started and he's doing magnificent job, and wish him only best in his very promising career.

Since no way that any of BMW drivers could take the crown this year, from those 4 guys from Ferrari and McLaren, fighting for DC, Hamilton is the one i'd like to win it this year, so go get' em, boy! :t-drive:

:t-cheers:

I'd love to know what's up with Ralf Schumacher, lately he seems to be doing really badly, and it can't be the car seeing as Trulli seems to be able to get good results from the car.
