| Well they are all mix and match underneath their skin, but what I can say is the "E-coupe" has the exact same wheelbase as the C-sedan.

| Whatever makes you feel better. The E-coupe shares alot with the E-sedan, no doubt. But the basic architecture is a C. If you pull up the spare tire cover on a C and a E-coupe you will see what I mean. In other words when you pull away the facade and see the bones on the thing, they are basically the same. I am standing here looking at a C, E and E-coupe side by side on my showroom. If the E-coupe did share its basic architecture with the sedan, it might actually have a functional back seat. There is not a lot of difference in suspension, steering and drive train between the three. All these are using the agility control technology. |

| Oh no, not this again. The E-Class Coupe is nothing but a CLK with a new name. It doesn't even fit as an E-Coupe. Tennmb, how have E-Class sales been so far, coupe/sedan? M

| As far as I'm concerned without the B-pillar the E-coupe is it's own unique car. To many chassis modification to keep the structural integrity in check, and now it looks like it shares both front and rear subframes from the E-sedan. Anything else is IMO trivial. |

| Axles, steering, motors (bar the AMG) are coming from the E-Class. The electronic gizmos and most of the equipments are more E than C, too. The bodyshell however is similar to the C-Class (width and wheelbase of the car). According to Mercedes, the E-Coupe is 60% E-Class and 40% C-Class... but that is, if you consider all motors as E-Class (despite some of them also available for the C).

| So in short they have applied/mounted etc. E-Class hardware on a C-Class chassis. M

| LOL, not this again. Haven't we covered this enough times already? It's a freaking Hybrid of the E and C.
