Today, for your viewing pleasure, may we direct you to this film produced by Audi Gebrauchtwagen :plus Zentrum München. The spot, called ‘Audi mud dub’, enlists DTM driver Timo Scheider to go for a Gymkhana-like run through the construction site of their new facility. It’s also set to a DubStep soundtrack (thus the name) with the exception of when Scheider almost mows down a traditional German marching band.
More than likely an A1 quattro, one of just 333 built, may have been slightly damaged during this filming… but we don’t care. It’s a great bit. And, while we’re sure there’ll be those who want to compare it to the Ken Block video series, we’d like to point out that this car is a production car versus Block’s several hundred thousand dollar rally-spec Ford Fiesta. Given that difference, Scheider’s DTM Championship & Le Mans level of driver cred and definitely a little of our own bias, we’re giving the point to Audi.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
