A-Class (W176) [Official] Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG

The W176 model was introduced at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show officially as a subcompact executive / C-segment model for the first time after being a supermini / B-segment for fifteen years.
I've driven a few WRX's, my cousin had a 22B, that car was worked by Possum Bourne Motorsport, had well over 500hp, scary fast. I doubt an A45 would know which way that thing went, not much else would either for that matter. I had a drive a few weeks ago in an FQ400 EVO X, it was an FQ400 model a few weeks ago, that was fast, probably the fastest car I've been in in a very long time, probably since the 22B. It felt faster the the GTR I had a ride in last year.

I've driven a 250AMG, it was a nice car, but I think the Golf GTi is a better car, I've never seen an A45 in Norway, so I doubt I'll ever get to drive one, they are really really expensive.

I looked at buying both an EVO and Impera about 3 times over the years and it was their cheap interior quality and general finish which stopped me but I do agree with KiwiRob that for a very long time these brands had the jump on the Germans. But what the Germans have done is bring the cross country speed of these Ricers with their undoubtedly superior fit and finish.

What the Japs have over the A45 is price, they are just as fast, if not faster for less cash. If you want to tune these kind of cars the market for performance parts for WRX/STI/EVO is simply massive.

Well shot

See how vath have a custom distronic cover on the front grill? Does someone make custom ones? Easy to change?

Well what are your thoughts, should I go for it? Or am I just being a bit immature?
Yes you are, so stop being silly. Besides, the A250 Sport is a much better looking car than the A45, and where are you going to use anything like what the A45 has on tap - unless you are going to do track days. Also consider you can get into an M235i for under $90 drive away, and I think I'd be looking there if I wanted to move up for pure performance reasons.

You could go some tuning options that will give you a few more ponies for the 250, but really all you have to do in the 250 is put your foot down. Just my thoughts though. The only thing I'd like in the 250 is all wheel drive. Bring one of those out and I'd seriously consider updating tomorrow.

much better looking car ? lol how you even can say something like that, other than that its like you say why would anyone buy a ferrari unless he is racing at the track haha

^ Doesn't look like it. Perhaps an S model? We'll see. :)

This new approach means the Black Series name has been parked for now, but Moers said it would return. “The Black Series name stays,” said Moers. “It will be necessary in the future, but for now the base cars are so good. The Black Series must be at the top of the hill, but I don’t know when or on what model yet.” Source: Autocar

^ Tobias Moers recently indicated no Black Series is planned for a while. But one could still speculate about a stronger A 45 AMG S model. :)
