Aventador was tested at very cold conditions (4 or 5 Degrees C as far as I can remember), that's why it was relatively slow (3,1 s) at 0-100 km/h and so fast between 100 and 200 kph. F12 was tested at 28 Degrees C. :)
About the F12, qr was a bit faster, tested in March
But also qr did less than 9s with the aventador, tested in September with more than 20.c ;)

Excellent acceleration results. 100-200 km/h in 5,9s with Sport Auto standards with this kind of temperatures (28/48°C) is impressive. 5,5s might be easily possible with better conditions and 1 person on board.

Aventador did 3,0/9,5s in Supertest (20°C) and 3,1/8,8s at 4°C (actually best result ever for Aventador considering Sport Auto methods).

I expected better results on the track... Now it seems like a dragster carrying 747 horses but with the handling of 550... Offcourse when you mention the numbers in standalone, it really still does sound good... until mentioning the horsepower... The Aventador does better and so does the McLaren MP12, McLaren 650S Spyder, Carrera GT, GT3, Turbo and Turbo S and so on. Even the Prsche Carrera S isnt that far off with 400 bhp (1.09,9 vs 1.10,4) !!!!!!!!

What do you think?

Do you remember what tires the Aventador was on?

1. I think it'd be better: 14s better than old 599 on standard PZero...
2. @ vairano F12 on PZero was very close to Lamborghini (on PZero corsa)
3. The track maybe was a bit warm
4. Usually HvS doesn't like Ferrari, do you remember the 458?

that its correct but what about Döttingherhöhe top speed: Berlinette 302 with 26degres, aventador 306 with ….. degrees.
Maybe somebody nows the track temperature on the aventador super test..

17 Degrees C air- and 21 Degrees C tracktemperature for Aventador at NBR.

Off topic i know... but what's next in Sport Auto Supertest ?

M5 f10
Competition paket

Back to the f12 exit Speed a Galgenkopf (last turn befor Döttingerhöhe) is 135 km/h whilst aventador was simular 134 km/h

Tus f12 Speed gain towards Döthöhe is 167 km/h in 26 degres temp and aventador 172 km/h in 17 degres.
I think high speed performance is simular from those two, maybe aventador has aerodynamic or gearing adventage over the more powerfull and lighter ferrari

Do you really believe it had 699.9ps?
The Aventadors sent to the press were factory test cars equipped with special eproms made by
Lamborghini experience department. Some people raised a fuss when was Ferrari using these methods. BUT THIS IS COMMON.

...now the Banshee-Guibo will come, and he'll damn you, forever :nailbiting:

The main question remains, why some of the hearly F12s tested were significately slower that this?

I saw a F12 Berlinetta this weekend around town and boy, even in grey, it's eye-catching.
