Wonder when we will get the first test drives.... Would like to know how they go and off course when the AMG will be launched.

Observed the VAG contingent over this car , interesting to hear in fluent german "Is it too late" and "Is it achieveable?" over some key areas of the car to the VAG minions. Lets say that they were thorough with the A-Klasse nothing short of full forensics. But with the prodding and the sheets of paper covering up their whispers.

Afterall the first A-klasse was instrument in VW's push upwards which now is effectively a "real" Golf challenger.

Of course we all know did not go according to plan for some models. But hey, lets try again with VW evaluating in regards to shareable components and the corporate parts bin, further Premium VW's and not just a Phaeton.
In regards to what they felt and saw within the A-klasse , perhaps It seems that the "Super" new Golf might not be as "super" as VW are making it out to be.

Haha, that's funny. I bet and it sounds like VAG are sh@tting their pants over the new A-Class. If for no other reason than for that M-B showed they can play along with the normalities of what's expected in this segment, rather than something like what the previous A-Class was.

I thought VAG is targeting the new A-class with their new A3 instead of the new Golf?

Yes, they'll even target the new Mercedes A Class with the next Seat Leon and Skoda Octavia.

My reservations aside, that MB-tex stitched dash-top is simply beautiful.

AS mus as I don't like the exterior, I like the interior. IMO, by miles the best looking of the segment

That red thing in middle of the front bumper looks duuuuumb.

The car really looks like a little hot rod. I really think this thing will be a sales monster for M-B, at least initially, as once the novelty wears off on such an overstated design, the momentum can turn against it.
