Lately I've been having trouble converting RAW (NEF) files in Nikon Picture Project, the software that came with my D40. Basically these problems started halfway through my ownership with the new D90.

So yesterday I uninstalled the program and installed the same program but from the CD that came with the D90. It worked. I could convert RAW files to JPEGs again for use in Photomatix for HDR conversion. I could also edit these RAW files with the brightness option and then export them to a designated folder where they would be saved as JPEG's without a problem whatsoever.

Today I took a bunch of RAW shots and now this piece of sh_t Nikon Picture Project keeps telling me some stupid error message when I want to convert a RAW file to a JPEG. The same f_cking problem with the last version.

So now I downloaded the official NEF codec from the Nikon website and the problem still keeps persisting. I want to be able to click and drag a RAW file into Picture Project and from there edit and save them in the folder which I use for my HDR images. Everything works fine until the moment I click on "Export" - then I get this annoying ass message telling me about some error bullsh_t.

Here's my question, and yes I am f_cking raging at the moment. :t-banghea

WHAT THE F_CK IS WRONG WITH THIS PIECE OF SH_T SOFTWARE!?

Or is it my computer!?
