Ladies and gents.
I would like to introduce you to my very special car.
It's a 2001 Audi A4 B5, that I've bought new in January 2001.

I'm the only owner, and it's also the biggest reason why this car is so special to me.
The Audi A4 B5 became my dreamcar when I was 16 years of age (and a huge BMW M3 E36 fan), and one of my friends dad bought a brand new Audi A4 B5 1.6. The year was 1997. Once he gave me a ride home from the training, and I was hooked ever since. I would have a car like that one day. And so, 4 years later, after being a very succesful athlete (pole vaulter), I earned my money very quick, and could afford a brand new A4.

In January 2001, my choice actually was to already place an order on the B6 model, because it came out in the end of that month. But I didnt want that, since I thought the B6 was way to round, and to much alike the A6 C5, which I didnt bond with at all. And the B5 was in it's last last time, so I got a great deal on a brand new 1.8T. I chose the color of santorin blue, since it was my favorite color.

When I bought the car, I had a vision of how it would look. I wanted to be different from the others. I didnt want the car to stand out to much, and look like an airplane. I wanted to style it very clean, but not confuse people that it was an S4 or RS4.

So, during the years, I've had some great memories with this beauty. When I finished my exterior styling in 2008, I was very satisfied. I've gotten so many positive feedback on this car, and it makes me very glad. After I was finished with the exterior and interior, I started to tune the engine.

And I've always taken care of it as it was my baby. I've always kept it in warm garage. Always handwashed it. Never drove it in wintertime. And after 12 years, it has 75 000 km on the stand.

Well, the rims or not on the car yet. I have to clean them up and wash them and prepare them and than put them on :)

So hopefully tomorrow I will bring you some pics :)

The RS4 rims belong to the most beautiful I have ever seen. Not in-your-face, but soo wonderful... I really love them. You couldn't get anything better than these!!

Those are a bit old these rims but they look good nevertheless...
:)

Great choice man :usa7uh:, but isn't it winter time up there already?
:t-cheers:
Yeah it is, but I'm not driving the car during winter :)
I have my Corolla for that hehe.

I planned to buy new wheels in March next year... but when I saw the price on these used babies... I couldn't help myself!

Excellent choise you made mate! You couldn't have found much better wheels for you beloved Audi!

BTW, why don't you drive your A4 in winter?

BTW, why don't you drive your A4 in winter?

It's cause I have cherished the car so well thru the years, it just feels wrong to drive it here in the "winter". The swedes salt the roads so much! And I know that's not good for the car.

Other thing is, it's always dark here in the winter. It's not as fun to drive when it's cold, wet, windy...

Note that I live in the south of Sweden, and it hardlty ever snows here! If it does, it's just mixed with rain and fog.... it sucks :(

I'm more of a summer person. I like to take the car out when it's sunny, and I can roll my windows down and feel the breeze... :)

And I do have a 2nd car, to do the "dirty-work" :)

Haha.. OLD?? You're kidding me.

I am serious, they are old ...
Here's one example:

Nice rimms:

Congrats:D

PS
Its normal for ppl with fancy cars to not use them during the winter in sweden..
The winter is just to harsh..and they salt the roads like tumbo said..
Not good for the cars..
