There are probably some of you who are wondering how an S280 drives. There is no W221 S280 review available yet, but I have a pretty objective W220 S280 review from Mercedes Enthusiast in ENGLISH. Here it is.

I'll read it later... It's my dad's old car.![]()

Whoa, I never knew that!![]()
Be careful James, he might be a member of this forum![]()
LOL. Oh yes, and the writer of that article is a Singaporean - I've spoke to him on the phone before... I don't really like him to be honest.![]()
It's a good read. It seems that the S280 is more than sufficient... Especially for a place like Singapore.

Wow, Ian Kuah is Singaporean? I always assumed he was a British motoring journalist.
Well, places like Singapore or Hong Kong are the perfect places for a car like an S280. City environment where one doesn't need the power of an S500 and the fuel economy either. If you drive an S280 in a relaxed and stately manor, no one can tell what's under the hood.![]()

Ian moved from Singapore to Britain when he was just a young lad.![]()
Just a lad... I like that.![]()
BTW, I am looking for that article with the W123 230E that has over 1.4 million km on it - the guy who owns it lives in Singapore. Know this guy by any chance?![]()

No idea there was such a person - I'd love to meet him! Once you found that article let me know his details, maybe I can track him down.![]()
