The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a series of compact executive cars produced by Mercedes-Benz Group AG. Introduced in 1993 as a replacement for the 190 (W201) range, the C-Class was the smallest model in the marque's line-up until the W168 A-Class arrived in 1997.

The are either using the same rendering as Car and Driver, or this is not a rendering but rather it is the real deal.

I know this car might not be close to the production model, but watching this video u can tell that theres allot of body roll on corners, over bumps, and man was that some horrible understeer .47....

It's a render. Lots of publications use the same renders, this is nothing new.

The real car look even better because, well, this is only a render. The icing will be in the details

Even I thought the same but again it comes from MB passion blog, they don't post cooked up stories either.

2 variants of AMG GT
The AMG GT will get neither wing doors, nor provide a successor for the SLS from Mercedes-Benz. The maximum power of the vehicle is over 600 hp lie, wherein the motor is installed as a front mid-engine (the speech is even up to 607-608 hp, possibly new M178 engine). The sprint to 100 km / h in under 4 seconds of the complete AMG GT. The vehicle has a transmission in a transaxle design, the weight distribution of the vehicle remains at 50:50 rough, the vehicle will weigh less than the SLS Coupe (C197). The wheelbase of the AMG GT is slightly shortened compared to the SLS, with more steel is used in the production of the GT for reasons of cost. The production of AMG GT will probably start on the released production line of the SLS in Sindelfingen.

Under €150k for a Benz sportscar with 600+ hp?
You think this car is going to be €20k cheaper than an S63 AMG coupe? And €50k cheaper than a Turbo S?
 
The cheapest version will probably be even more expensive..
The AMG GT's pricing will target the 911's. A 911 Turbo is $148k and a GT3 $130k.

Mercedes I'm sure will make a statement with this car - hypercar-rivalling performance at high-end sports car pricing. Why not? The GT shares a lot of the sunk cost of the SLS AMG's chassis, and the new engine is shared with tens of thousands of C63 AMGs etc. to come. They have a big cost advantage over McLarens, Lambos, Ferraris, and even Porsche. Time will tell of course.
 
^ a Turbo S is from €190k plus in Germany, and I really don't think this SLC will not cost a dime less

But it will be interesting to see this unfold. This car will not be cheap, and it will only rival the most expensive versions of the 911......I think...

I think the AMG GT will price at around 20% more than the SL63 AMG.
