M5 [Spyshots] BMW M5 Facelift at Nurburgring

The BMW M5 is a high-performance variant of the BMW 5 Series marketed under the BMW M sub-brand. It is considered an iconic vehicle in the sports saloon category. The first M5 model was hand-built beginning in late 1984 on the E28 535i chassis with a modified engine from the M1 that made it the fastest production saloon at the time. M5 models have been produced for every generation of the 5 Series since 1984, with occasional gaps in production (1995 to 1998, 2023 to 2024). Official website: BMW M

headlamps and front grill area.
i would drive it with this camouflage, i dont care, it looks BEAST.

I swear 5er and 6er facelifts must be so hard to do, theres nothing to improve (except for LED headlamps in f10), it must be commercially driven

German Autobild says there is performance package coming for M5 this summer.
Include more power, Ceramic brakes, sport suspension, new wheels + a few more goodies.

The wheels look good, but I don't like 6,7,8,12 spoke rims. I like 5,10,15. Has to do with the five nuts. Well that is my issue. For CL wheels the number of spokes is not a question.

I wonder if they will remain on their old business plan, where they more or less updated the M cars cosmetically to look on par with the series car.
And just dont touch the engines or mechanics?

If so the M5 might see some very tough last years of its life, they need to update it to keep up with the comeptition.
With the AMG S models and RS Audis..
And don't forget the new E class is due before the new 5er, so this facelifted M5 will still be in production when a brand new E AMG is here.

I don't think they can go on with this spec until then, without loosing customers.

And if new E Class looks anything like the new S Class...

^Game over then

PS
I wonder how many M5 vs E63 vs RS6 are sold each year..

Anyone got the numbers?

^yes but it wont happen..not even the C class will look to similar to the S..
Mercedes don't play that game.

Remember my words.

See you when the C class out:D

Time will tell. But the "Charackter Lines" are know very very similar at the most Benzes yet with the GLA they have a new member with the similar lines....:D

^ Lets just wait.. :)

A line here or there is no problem for me, im all for some kind of Family traits..
But what BMW and Audi are doing..? hah no no.. we wont have that in stuttgart:D

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
