After creating the Wine thread and contributing somewhat heavily to the Beer thread, well, you know... :)

my favorites....

Scotch:
Laphroaig....peaty and smoky
Lagavulin....peaty, smoky and smooth. No wonder it's Ron Swanson-approved (Amercan TV viewers will appreciate that)
Macallan's....so damn smooth.

Bourbon:
Four Roses....just discovered it. Just tasty.
Maker's Mark....this with coke is my drink of choice at a club. Which I rarely go to nowadays.

Irish whisky:
Jameson
J&B

Vodka (no fruit flavor or any of that none-sense):
Ciroc...dear god, it's smooth.
Russian Standard
Grey Goose
Ketel one
Stoli

Tequila:
Patron
Cazadores

Rum:
Pyrat
Myer's

I'm not terribly fond of gins though.

Now, is it me, or is anybody else's mouth as parched as mine? :D

Out of all the liquors you wrote about, I only drink gin. Either Tanqueray or Finsbury. I hate whiskey, vodka, and pretty much everything other than gin.

:D

And a picture I just took for you:

Please don't comment on the fact that I still run XP :D

Only on the rarest of occasions will I have a G&T, but I'm more of a scotch/bourbon/martini guy.

LOL, cheers, man! Unfortunately, my drink of choice at this moment is coffee. Studying physiology right now. Actually coffee is pretty much my life-blood right now for the last 9+ months.

South Africa's own...

I'm pretty much a Scotch guy now.

So my list of what I've had:

Johnny Walker - Black and Blue
Glenlivet 12
Macallan's 12 and 18
Lagavulin 12
Ardmore Single Cask
Glenmorangie - The Lasanta 12yo
Chivas
Highland Park 12yo

Other spirits: Well shit. I was in a fraternity in college, so I've pretty much drank everything from bottom of the barrel liquor to some good shit. However, I was able to convince a drunk in Vegas to get me a shot of Remy Martin Louis XIII, which I sipped on. Damn was that delicious.

I'm not a fan of scotch, nor vodka, nor tequila. However, I had an AMAZING mezcal on new year's eve, brought by a friend who came back from vacations in Mexico. And I like american bourbon, specially mighty Jack ;)

My fav liquor is Cognac/brandy. There are dozen of complex flavours in there, waiting to be discovered by the mouth. My fav is not french, but spanish: Fundador Pedro Domecq.
I also love italian Grappa and the bolivian (Singani) and peruvian (Pisco) variations.

Then comes Cuban and Jaimacan rhum, I can drink mojito till death :D . In Paraguay there's a similar, very tasty liquor called Caña (cane)

And in third place comes gin, as I love gin tonic.

Other random favs of mine: Jagermeister, Fernet Branca, Sambuca, Pastis, Frangelico, Amaretto, Limoncello, Arancello, Cointreau, Mandarinetto, Cachaça and damm, I'm a drunk :D

No, my friend, you're just cultured. :D I'm going to have to try to find the Fundador when I get a chance. And I feel you on mojitos....just deliciousness.

If you ever like to go for shooters try some my favorits. It has to be frosen cold if you drink.
I keep all my vodkas in the freezer all the time to have them ready in any time.

Everyday drink is New Amsterdam Gin, since June? I have gone through about one 1.75 liter bottle a month, right now I am about two weeks late on the current bottle, but haven't had many mixers in the house lately.

Gin, vodka, dessert wines, Jager, and about a half dozen other types are consumed regularly. For the past year or so we have started to get into single malts.
