Wraith [Official] Rolls-Royce Wraith

The Rolls-Royce Wraith is a full-size ultra-luxury car/grand tourer manufactured by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and based on the chassis of the Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan which is also shared with the Rolls-Royce Dawn convertible. The Wraith shares its nameplate with the 1938 model by the original Rolls-Royce company. The body style is a two-door pillar-less coupe with suicide doors, where all side windows can roll down like in a convertible. This body style was popular in American cars during the 1950s and 1960s, and was known as the hardtop body style, not used by Rolls-Royce since 1955.

Of all the bad colors that have used to release new cars as of late this may be the worst. Hopefully real life pics and footage do the Wraith justice.

Also, isn't it a bit odd having two completely different types of veneer. I understand the yachting influence, but it just doesn't work with piano veneer, imo of course.

This is a special, very special shape that has to be seen IRL to be fully appreciated. I just hope that one day BMW will take a class on how to properly shoot cars.

Am I going mental or is there something taped up on the right of the infotainment screen?

The Wraith is very classic English Coupe of course if you do not like the shape , the forthcoming Drophead solves that problem.

The preview was done in advance before the name was announced . As the name was not yet revealed and since it was displayed in the cars clock... Hence the tape.

The BMW CH preview is about to commence in which BMW Switzerland see what is coming for them later this year.

Informative, thanks. But, highly irregular all the same.

Not the best angles ... The pics show the car in Quasimodo look. But that's not the real picture. The shape flows very well IRL. The fastback is not that prominent IRL (although in bicolor variant tha fastback tail is a bit too visually emphasized IMHO). The car has to be seen IRL to appreciate the shape. Also additional promo photos present the car in better light.

Btw, this spy photo gives you much better idea how the car looks on the road:

Btw, until more official press photos & photos from Geneva are released these shots by Autocar should suffice:
