599 still has years ahead ... and it is still fresh ..

but the car itself doesn't attract me at all.
I guess I'm one of the minority this time. The engine and the technology arebut the car itself doesn't attract me at all.
I hate small unnecessary design details such as those cuts on the front lights (just like I hate them on new Nissans (370Z & Maxima)). The side creases and their steep angle reminds me of Seat Leon. The whole area around the door handle seems akwardly designed. The 3 tail pipes might be a hommage but they still look cheesy.
All in all the exterior looks like it was made by a some 13-year-old self-trained "designer" from Moldova and the Ferrari engineers then added all the functionality to it.
I'd rather have my left testicle ripped out by a 3m Komodo Dragon with septic saliva than choose that half-cocked 458 Italia over a thoroughly complete KZ1.
Ah... but in reality, there's nothing half-cocked about this very complete and bar-raising Ferrari.![]()
I'd rather have my left testicle ripped out by a 3m Komodo Dragon with septic saliva than choose that half-cocked Ascari over a thoroughly complete 458 Italia.
This Ferrari is the new benchmark. Can the LP560 keep up with 458?
I can understand that. That I also agree with.
Just not fond of the styling details at the moment.
Damn, you're talking like the Ascari is a daewoo or something.
Compared to a Ferrari, an Ascari may as well be a Daewoo. It's no Zonda fairy tale.
Yes, but it is around 235 000 GBP no? That's helluva expensive for a shoddily put together, unrefined 500 Bhp car no?
I can think of much better ways to spend that amount of money and get a proper thoroughbred.
