Cost of production?

Hi everbody!

Today I had a management class and we were discussing about costs that companies have, in order to make some of their products. I asked my lecturer what's the production cost of cars produced in Mercedes. He told me that costs in Mercedes range from 1.500 (!!!?!?!?) to 15.000 euros depending on the car.

So, does anyone know what's the cost of producing cars in Audi, Mercedes or Beemer? You can take any model you want... Thx

I recall that my Volvo dealer told me once that the S60's cost is around 18.000eur
