What CLS is $200,000?

For the driver HUD and instrument display is included. Instead the freestanding screen has to be seen from all seats. the space at the top of the center console is an alternative and competes with: ventilation , central control elements and communication equipment - everything wants to be placed as high up on the console.
So before the rear seat passengers have their own screens in standard trim, the screen position on the dashboard is optimal. deployable monitors were the precursors. looks clean when not in use. however, it quickly turned out that practically everybody left the monitor always extended while driving and the mechanism was prone to failure.
so I think the prominently visible centrally located monitor is acceptable. those who associate free-standing monitors as cheap, should know that the G-Class, the most expensive vehicle in the daimler program, also has a monitor.
You could also pay that for a CLS 63 in Switzerland.Ones sold here in Australia where we get skinned alive for new cars.
The current CLS and the current E have the same size of screen. Both are 7 inch.I have to admit the screen has grown on me. They're able to offer varied sizes, also it sits up high, without making the dashboard higher. A little less plastic would be nice, obviously. Is the screen in the CLS now bigger than that of the E-Class ? I guess it is meant to be a class above.
