Sorry :eusa_doh:

^ Agree, it's pretty similar! :D
This new B's central console is just like the modern version of this Citroen.

Wow, looks like a huge slab of wood on the passenger side. Surprised to see that on a lower end car like the B-Class.

I'm pretty surprised at how much wood they're putting into the B. Heck, that dash is much nicer than even the FL C's. According to Mercedes-Benz Passion, more interior photos are coming today, though the full reveal will have to wait...

Superb interior...Way over what i was expecting this is really a great move by MB to have a interior like this in the new B class is something that will really boost the Image off this car it oozes class and seems aldo dynamic next to the current interior this is like 100 steps ahead..I agree this is a level up on teh current facelift C class interior..I say terrefic job and well done to Mercedes Benz on this one i cant see anything so far to complain about regading the interior..I think The A class should have the same or very simalar interior will also be a winner..

Oh i wish somebody can post a pic off the old interior next to this...

should we not have a official thread now...

Very classy, and tons of detail. I was kind of taken by surprise with the amount of luxury poured into the B-Class. Job well done..

Does teh B class have different models like the avantgarde and elegance because this looks like it could be a top off the range model i doubt this will be the basic B class...I really like the interior really fantastic i cant believ it is so good...

I doubt very much the leathered dash is going to be a standard. Mind the current B-class prices starts @ €24,500 in Germany, and the new one won't be much pricier, I guess.

If the interior will turn out like this, then the B-Class will be honestly amazing, maybe even better than the old C-Class.

I do wish they stretched the wood out to the area around AC controls and between the seats like in the design sketches, but I do realize it would cost more and for a car in this class the interior truly is quite promising. It could sell in the US with this interior.

Also curious to see how it looks with the screen closed.

should we not have a official thread now...

Hmm, I was thinking that it would be better to start the official thread when the car is officially unveiled, but with all that press releases from MB, I think the official thread is now justified.

That said, probably today or tomorrow, I'll move the last posts from this thread to create the official thread.

:t-cheers:

Wow, is this really an entry-level Mercedes-Benz? They ain't playing this time around. If the A-Class hatchbacks come out like this, with the right engines/dynamics Mercedes will have finally realized their decades long goal of building a truly worthy small car.

Now where is K/A? Look at the thing man..lol!!!

Is that little screen a pop-up or detachable affair? I haven't read the articles yet.

Now imagine if Mercedes gets fancly with the baby-CLS interior. WOW. Gonna be hits. Mercedes has invested billions into these small cars and it shows.

What's technically more upmarket: The A-Class or B-Class? Also, which is larger?

B-Class is larger, according to Wikipedia: "[The B-Class] is essentially an enlarged A-Class keeping the same engine and suspension system."

Lol. I was actually gonna say, if the A-Classes interior looks anything like this, and it comes at a low enough price, I'd be ALL over it for a second car. M-B engineering and safety, not a serious or upmarket enough car to be too critical about any funky design elements (that I would otherwise criticize on a car like the E-Class, but could understand and even have fun with on a car like an A-Class), great interior, etc. etc. Count me in (maybe :D)!

This is mouthwatering and i hate small cars..
That interior is to good for that little thing..
It feels like cheating..like they stole a container full of expensive interior parts which they now can fill even small cars with:D
