I must say that I love every single piece of this car. I remember those bad oinions regarding the 2 spoke steering wheel. I f...ing love it. It looks awesome, sincerely. I like it a lot. Usually, the 3 spoke steering wheels are the best looking ones, but I remember that I hate one 3 spoke steering wheel from MB. It look incredible ugly, I hated the Slk steering wheels (the old slk), the C class W203 sport version steering wheel. I like this W222 steering wheel over W221 one and I liked a lot that steering wheel. This new one is perfect and UNIQUE. S class is UNIQUE !
I showed the new steering wheel to my brother-who is not a Mercedes fan-and the first thing he sad: It's like a steering wheel from an old Benz. This is tradition, when not a fan see the Mercedes style. I also like it very much.

^^ also also round air vents in the interior. A lot of people (including me) hated them from the spyshots, but in he end it came together just very well..

They were waiting for us to hit 1,000,000 view for this thread. Which we have just done. A million views for just one thread. That's pretty darned impressive.

Winners are for the forum, and you as administrators. Way to go!

Maybe now its time to open a new, OFFICIAL S Class thread?

1 million hits in just over 1 year, the S-class is still king.

Guys, can't you be a little patient?

We'll create an official thread once the official press release is out and the car is officially released.

:)

^
I agree on that, but then again, these are official teaser pic and video? In my view, they should be included in official thread, no matter if you open it on Wednesday or before that. Just a thought.

I love that "Mercedes-Benz" script badge on the bottom of the wheel...little details like that gives just a bit more class and sense of occasion...something you'd want but not expect in a car in this strata.

Is it not all a bit Anticlimatic now? Everything is known.
Nope. This car sets the tone for this class. Between this and the 918, May 15th is going to be a good day for petrolheads, especially those who enjoy cars from Deutschland.

^ wow nice. Can't wait to see what it looks like when the tape comes off :D

Oh wait....

1 million hits in just over 1 year, the S-class is still king.

I visit this thread about 3 times a day, and that is putting it mildly. On heated days, it is more like 30. This means, a passionate member alone can probably do 10k views. Which makes 1M views the work of 100 or so dedicated members.

Now, let's hope Google paid handsomely for the chance to get into our wallets.

Where the hell is the info??? They said wait till tomorrow on MB's facebook page, now what???

Are the rumors about Mercedes re-introducing an inline-six still viable?
