The nw front looks good, but I do agree the pre facelift was a whole lot more special. I don't understand why they want the whole RR range to look like the Ghost.

Has anyone seen photos of the facelift with the inner circular lights switched on?

It looks the same as on 6er / X5 / X6 LED headlights: the upper part of circles / round projectors are illuminated for low beam. Check out this video:

The headlights have subtle references to BMW's corona rings. Range Rover executed a similar approach when they facelifted the RR and RR Sport. Both cars went from unique headlights to shared ones. It was odd at first but I quickly became accustomed to the change.

I love that . That's how a Roller should be driven.

Coolest chauffeur ever :D.

Rolls-Royce Phantom

The Phantom rides beautifully, but you always knew it would; it’s a quarter-million pound car whose overriding dynamic aim is to ride beautifully.
It moves over cratered roads in near-perfect calm and composure, though its softness leaves it with some roll-rock. The Phantom’s magical ride is matched by impressive body control for such a big, soft car.

The steering is oily smooth, direct and with precisely-judged control weights. It rolls, but not excessively, and keeps its vertical composure until you’re driving faster than is prudent. We did pick up on some wind noise and a little tyre roar over 50mph, but that was because everything else was so quiet. We were being spoilt.
In recognition of the surprisingly high propensity of owners to sit up front, rather than lounge in the back, a Driver’s Pack is offered. It features additional bracing front and rear, a thicker diameter steering wheel and more feel through the brakes.

The PHANTOM family, it's like the real Royal family of the automotive world. Their HH's or is it RR's?

That's just sick!!

Awesome vid, so cool when those four garage door open and the cars come out to play!! Amazing.

From those, I want to coupe first and the EWB second :D
But the driving on a circuit part makes not much sense for these cars. Wrong setting LOL

Rolls-Royce Phantom Won't Get a Replacement before 2020, Says Report

Launched in 2003, Rolls-Royce’s flagship model, the Phantom, received its first facelift last year. That should be enough for a few more years, as the BMW-owned luxury car manufacturer doesn’t plan to offer a redesigned Phantom until around 2020.
The 2012 update brought improvements like subtle styling tweaks, updated electronics and an eight-speed automatic transmission with a new rear differential, and these will probably be the last major changes before a new generation model appears, given the extended period between the Phantom’s introduction and mid-cycle facelift.

Leftlanenews has learned from Richard Carter, director of Rolls-Royce Global Communications, that the Phantom has a planned lifecycle of 17 years. That’s way more than the “life expectancy” of an average car (8-10 years), but then again, the Phantom is anything but average. Carter said that when a customer pays $500,000 for a new Phantom, he or she doesn’t want the car to be outdated in just a few years’ time.

Therefore, if you have a Phantom, don’t worry, you still have 6-7 years before it's replaced and you may want to think about trading it in for the new model. The next-generation Phantom is a mystery so far, but rumor has it that the Phantom family may switch to a platform derived from the BMW 7-Series, just like the Ghost.

If VAG owned Rolls-Royce that would probably be the Bemtley version of the Phantom.
But seriously.....no.

New Rolls-Royce Phantom in the works, could arrive in three years

Could have a carbon fiber bodyshell
The Rolls-Royce Phantom is starting to show its age but a new report is indicating the company is working on an all-new model.
Set to arrive in approximately three years, the redesigned Phantom could be significantly lighter than its predecessor as the company is reportedly considering an aluminum platform and a carbon fiber bodyshell. It remains unclear if BMW's carbon fiber factory could handle the additional demand but the company recently announced plans to increase carbon fiber production to approximately 9,000 tons annually.
While the model could go on a diet, we shouldn't expect a downsized engine as Rolls-Royce buyers are fond of the V12. However, there could be a plug-in hybrid variant and possibly even a pure electric version.
Little else is known about the car but Rolls-Royce Design Director Giles Taylor told Autocar “I don’t feel boxed in by the [existing] design. We are treading an evolutionary path and have a defining vision of modernity." He also said "We’re looking at more charisma and more edge in the future."

The next Phantom will be the ultimate expression of a Rolls-Royce as a brand. A synergy of luxury and technology with cutting edge construction and supreme power. The appearance is going to reflect this philosophy identified by its typical RR raked back front overhang and screen.
The materials in the construction will be applied as new interior trim finishes interplayed with wood , glass and chrome. Combined with additional exterior application. In regarding drivetrain and status as well as engine there will be no "downsizing". The engine in particular reflects the Next Phantom's status as the worlds most luxurious and ultimate limousine.

Is the V16 still on the table? I remember you said that they were thinking about it again for this new model.
