Impossible to tell nowadays, isn't it. :D

I'd guess a 7 Series.

BTW, does anyone know if it's confirmed that the CL will now be called "S Coupe", or do we not know yet?

^ So i think it's kinda official now that we have to wait until Geneva 2013 to see it? that means 7 more months..
Uhh still long. :(

Behind the S Class, is it a 5 Series, a 6 Series or a 7 Series?

F10, but the pic is of such low quality that it's indeed hard to tell.

The level of camo suggests exactly that. It's the fanboy's constant ramblings about supposed release dates that makes you think it's coming soon.

Yeah thats for the official debut, but we could see in the internet debut within the next few months hopefully before 2013

Exactly. All this speculation and needless guessing about the release date is extremely annoying, and has been inaccurate. Just let the car get released whenever it is scheduled to; im sure it is going to be spectacular. Studying past releases/trends does not dictate what will happen this time around.

All off topic posts have been removed, this is about the new S-class, not about which BMW is behind the test car.

Here's an example of how functional a digital mile gauge could be skip to 3:50 - 6:10min if this is in a flagship Cadillac imagine what all you could do with it in a Flagship Benz

I just saw some pics of the new Hyundai Elantra Coupe, and the front uses those same ugly rows of thin plastic lines in the airdam, like what we see from M-B's new styling language. I really hope this doesn't become a new trend....

There might be a lot of ppl who will think the new S might look like a large Hyundai from some angles.. The huge grill and placement of the headlights might suggest that... The W222 S is obviously and evolution of the W221. Hyundai is borrowing some of MB design schemes to look more upscale.

LOL, to all you Benz guys, just remember that imitation is the greatest form of flattery;) And that nobody would mistake a Korean POS, for a Mercedes Benz :)

Looks like the over-sized door mirrors are back. Looking good even under the camo.

You can see the "eyebrow" led strip under the cover. Lots of space between then and the grill... which material: sheetmetal or glass do you guys think that will take most of that -in between- area?

If you look closely you can see where the glass ends and the grill begins. That will be a relatively small area of body colored plastic.

The car is ready, not sure why (or if) we're waiting until March of NEXT YEAR! I don't buy that. Pics should be out sometime this month.

This car gives me hope for Cadillac's rumored S-Class/7-Series fighter. GM has got do something to change the presentation of their cars. The steering wheels still looks too thin, the engine sounds like shyte upon start up and it all looks nice, but upon further inspection it still comes off cheap (at least in the one in the video).
