The Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W204) is the third generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. It was manufactured and marketed by Mercedes-Benz in sedan/saloon (2007–2014), station wagon/estate (2008–2014) and coupé (2011–2015) bodystyles, with styling by Karlheinz Bauer and Peter Pfeiffer. The latest generation W204 Mercedes Benz C-Class has been on sale since 2007 and will be due for its mid-cycle facelift around 2010. As this computer generated rendering suggests, the car’s designers won’t be mucking around with the stylish look of the current model, instead choosing to focus on only minor changes such as new bumper, headlight and wheel designs. Besides the styling changes to the exterior, there will almost certainly be some updates to the interior and a number of mechanical changes. The latter will likely include modifications intended to improve the efficiency of the C-Class and boost Mercedes’ fleet wide fuel economy and emissions averages.

Some of the changes will likely include the addition of new BluTec diesel powertrains and engine stop-start systems, as well as more direct-injected models. Like previous updates, the new changes will be incorporated across the C-Class range but there may also be a major shift in the lineup – the addition of a new C-Class Cabrio and Coupe. Positioned below the E-Class Cabrio and Coupe, the new models will feature two doors with seating for four and is likely to come with a conventional soft-top roof in order to keep costs and weight down.

I will be buying a new car in the next 18 months or so, and I hope the newly updated C 2011 MY will have some interior upgrade, new engines and probably some exterior tweaks.MB has to keep the C as fresh and exciting in order to compete with the upcoming3er BMW which is supposed to be interesting. They don't need more than 300hps for this kind of compact car, they just need to to make it as efficient as 40mpg. I just can't wait for that CDI engine to arrive.

Hot but the mesh in the bumper seems too wide (height wise) hopefully in the face lift it will be slimmer and sleeker:cool:

Just found this over at mbworld.com

A glimpse of the 204 facelift? - MBWorld.org Forums

Looks like a LED dayrunning light…similar to the W221…anyone know, when the facelift is planned?!

This looks more like the technical service station for MB mechanics when they're ordering spare parts. I'm vaguely familiar with it because I spent about two days learning it when I worked at MB for the summer in Mühldorf. ;)

I think it´s not the facelift, but a new year model, with the only change being the LED fogs.

Yeah thats what I'm thinking too. The 2011 model will be the facelift model and hopefully the U.S. will see a new V6 engine.

I hope MB made some changes to the interior.

Doubtful, they rarely make significant changes during facelifts to the interior, this is just a mid cycle update just like they have many running changes during production that we don't see. this is basically to bring the C in line with the rest of the lineup which features LEDs except for the SLK, I guess.
