C-Class Brabus presents the V12 Biturbo Bullit Mercedes C-Class - 720hp and 1100Nm

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a series of compact executive cars produced by Mercedes-Benz Group AG. Introduced in 1993 as a replacement for the 190 (W201) range, the C-Class was the smallest model in the marque's line-up until the W168 A-Class arrived in 1997.

Pegged as the ‘ultimate wolf in sheep’s clothing,’ Mercedes tuner Brabus has unveiled its new V12 Biturbo C-Class sedan that it plans to present at tomorrow’s Frankfurt Motor Show. Brabus has been transplanting high output, large displacement engines into regular sedans for the past three decades, which has led it to develop the new Bullit C-Class sedan powered by a 720hp (537kW) 6.3L V12.

The mega-engine develops a peak torque of 1,320Nm (974 lb-ft) but has to be electronically limited to 1,100Nm (811 lb-ft) to preserve the gearbox and tires. In developing the new powerplant, engineers at Brabus added special pistons and connecting rods, a new turbocharging system with two larger chargers and more efficient intercoolers, and metal catalysts with a low back pressure stainless-steel exhaust.

Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a massively modified five-speed automatic transmission and a Brabus rear locking differential with a locking rate of up to 40%. The car sprints from 0–100km/h (62mph) in just 3.9 seconds, reaches 200km/h (124mph) after just 10.49 seconds and passes the 300km/h (186mph) mark after a mere 24.5 seconds. Top speed is claimed to be in excess of 360km/h (224mph).

The car also gets its own custom suspension and brake package, designed to accommodate the power and weight of the twin-turbo V12 engine. Engineers installed a height-adjustable coil-over suspension set-up and sport sway bars to improve handling. The brake package consists of monster 12-piston aluminum fixed calipers gripping vented and grooved 380mm discs up front, and six-piston units biting 360mm discs in the rear.

Ugly and waaaay too much, overkill, call it what you will...:thumbdown

:t-cheers:

WOW, I was not expecting them to squeeze a V12 into the little C-class. It look badass. It is an overkill, massive overkill but I love it. The car will look better with the normal Avantgard grille, but I want one.

Utterly stupid and pointless, and not the best-looking C-class around... but I still want one. :D

It's a hell of a job to put such big engine in such small car, it requests a lot of work and modifications to suspension, tranny, etc. and i congratulate them engineers for it, but as Mike said: Pointless and stupid!

:t-cheers:

This car is overkill - there is nothing more to add!! But nevertheless, it is this attraction, that makes this car interesting... :D

but as Mike said: Pointless and stupid!

:t-cheers:

That is exactly why we all want one. This will be one evil handling car with the heavy engine up front and massive power at the rear wheels. Possibly more scary to drive than the new Porsche GT2.

Yeah, it is overkill.......the only thing I like on this C is the black out headlights, the wheels and the SLK style seats. I prefer the C63's seats, actually. Come to think of it, I much prefer the C63 instead.

V12 is fitted in E30 BMW perfectly so it´s no suprise to me if it fitts in a C-class also:) .And about the car..what to say to something like this? It´s utterly pointless,un-usable and dangerous to drive at the same time:cool: .C63 is more than enough for C-class IMO

We can say that this car is utterly pointless (and it is) but I think it's more of a show case of what one tuning company can do, after all, the more power, the better, that's their job!!

OMG.. call me stupid..but im madly in love..
this is the first brabus after the CLS rocket wich im LOVING to death..
just look at it.. haha its stupid.. and i love it
and that interior.. OMG.. mouth watering stuff..

PS
Maybe i will calm down when i realize it costs as much as a CGT.. hahah
