The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a series of compact executive cars produced by Mercedes-Benz Group AG. Introduced in 1993 as a replacement for the 190 (W201) range, the C-Class was the smallest model in the marque's line-up until the W168 A-Class arrived in 1997.

Overall, I think MB designers did a superb job with the rear, though it admittedly looks a tad weighty from the rear(What Touring doesn't look this way? Besides Tourings are designed more for utility, not aesthetics). I'm tempted to say that no one does Tourings better than Audi, but I think MB has done a fine job w/ the S204. From the looks of it, it will surely deliver where it counts too: Cargo space.

Ok this isn't the best looking wagon but it doesn't look too bad. The rear end does look very boxy and wide, and the tail lights are massive. The cargo space does look massive though, I can fit so many girls inside....well that is another story.
So far everything looks just as expected.

Yes, of course the sedan has LEDs too!
This looks very promising, wait to see it in the metal. The red one is really hot!
I like the W123 accents of the rear... Like the sedan has 190-accents...
With the C-Class, Benz is really back to the old values, in term of quality and of pure, simple, clear, edgy design.

hmm not loving the rear..but its hard to make good rears on wagons..
its acceptable..
other than that..the car is Smokin hot..
right now the best looking wagon in the class..
but that will change VERY soon..cause the new A4 avant should be something speciall..

Audi sure has always made beautiful wagons, much better than their sedans even.
But having seen the new A4, I think it won't be special at all... looks like the precedent in my opinion, a bit boring and tame for me. Should be the same for the avant.
Maybe not however: they have changed the front of their car (big grille), the side (kind of character line), and the rear of the sedans recently. May they will apply the same principles than the sedan's rear to the wagon? Could be interesting!
So, the Artist, you could be right after all!
