Yup, S1000RR is getting much praises. BMW did a home run in its 1st attempt. Astonishing bike. And when adding HP accessories ... :icondrool

Yup, looks like Motorad hit the nail with the RR. They all loved the it.

ps. Funny that the BMW brought the race version in the first video on a Merc truck- reminds me of that ad BMW had some time back saying "Who said Mercedes doesn't deliver fun?" or something to the effect.

Edit: This one. Can some one translate, can't find the English version.

Only car able to go faster then the S1000RR is an F1. I saw it with my own eyes at the BMW Sauber fan event. On the start finish line of the nürburgring...
Great video :t-cheers:

I read a swedish test about the bike.

Meassured trimes:

0-100 km/h (62mph): 3.1 seconds
0-200 km/h (124mph): 7.0 seconds

thats seriously quick :usa7uh:

Awarded S 1000 RR Dinner Spot most successful BMW film on YouTube with more than 1 million clicks.

* 15.03.2010
* Press Release

München. With currently almost 1.75 million clicks the S 1000 RR Dinner Spot became the most successful BMW film on YouTube ever. In the course of the Spotlight International Advertising Film Festival in Mannheim the film was awarded in the category “Web and Mobile” at the beginning of March.
It is about a well-known magic trick, where a magician pulls the tablecloth from a small table all set up with china without damaging anything.
In “Dinner for RR” the BMW S 1000 RR knows the trade even better: Thanks to its acceleration of 2.9 seconds from 0 to 100 k.p.h. the bike is able to pull the tablecloth even from a huge, impressing banquet leaving all the china and glasses intact.

If you haven’t seen the „Dinner for RR“ clip yet, then click YouTube - BMW S1000 RR. Dinner for RR.

EDIT: more than 2 million clicks.
