Understandable. I really like the B5's exterior, it's not quite as flashy as the M5's, but it has a more subtle approach.
I've always loved Mercedes' 5.4 supercharged V8 so the engine in the Alpina fits me perfect, big horsepower and the torque to back it up

you can say that B5 is just like E55, more towards comfort than sport.

Either way, on a serious note, i am one of the least biased people you'll ever meet. Of course everybody has their favourites (for me: Pagani, Mercedes and Porsche) but i've shown my thoughts before. I've admitted the Zonda has problems and i've admitted that the IS220d i choose in a comparsion against the Alpina D3 was less sporty and more sloppy. I stand on no fence
